AIDER equips refugees and host community youth with practical and soft skills that improve livelihoods, self-reliance, and employment opportunities. Through projects such as the POWER Project implemented with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), AIDER has trained young refugees in leadership, photography, public speaking, advocacy, and entrepreneurship. The organization has also provided hands-on training in salon and hairdressing, make-up and beauty, barbering, and digital skills. One of AIDER’s major achievements includes supporting over 110 refugee girls through peer-led vocational initiatives, where many beneficiaries later secured jobs and internships within refugee and host communities. By investing in youth and women empowerment, AIDER continues to transform skills into opportunities and hope into sustainable livelihoods.
